FUTURE SARAJEVO

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, invites domestic and international architects, urban planners, landscape architects, as well as architecture and design students to participate in an open, two-level, international, anonymous competition ) for the conceptual design of the park "Hastahana" in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Participants are invited to submit innovative, nature-inspired and guided solutions for urban regeneration and activation of public space known as "Hastahana" - emblematic locations in the heart of Sarajevo, where significant historical periods of the city overlap.

The first workshop of the Living Lab was held on 23rd of February, 2022  in the hotel "Europe" in Sarajevo as part of the TRIBUTE project "Integrated and innovative actions to improve sustainable urban mobility". The main goal of the project is to improve urban mobility through the development of innovative, more efficient services and tailored solutions in line with the new EU goals of sustainable, integrated and inclusive mobility, which is the vision of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of Sarajevo Canton.
