Let's create together the first urban garden and sensory park in Sarajevo
International call for conceptual design of the public space "Hastahana" in Sarajevo
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with the Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, invites domestic and international architects, urban planners, landscape architects, as well as architecture and design students to participate in an open, two-level, international, anonymous competition ) for the conceptual design of the park "Hastahana" in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Participants are invited to submit innovative, nature-inspired and guided solutions for urban regeneration and activation of public space known as "Hastahana" - emblematic locations in the heart of Sarajevo, where significant historical periods of the city overlap.
Invitation for public consultations: Let's create together the first urban garden and sensory park in Sarajevo
On Friday, 3rd of December a public interactive discussion will be held in the premises of the Secondary Vocational Education and Training School at 13:00 with the aim of collecting creative ideas of citizens about the appearance and design of the first urban garden with sensory elements in Sarajevo.
Re-Imagine Musala
On Saturday, October 2, starting at 11:00, the citizens of Sarajevo will have the opportunity to attend the third interactive workshop with the aim of urban transformation of public spaces. After the first workshop in Radićeva Street and the second in the area of Hastahana, this Saturday those present will have the opportunity to give their suggestions for the arrangement of the Musala area.
Re-Imagine Hastahana
Last Saturday we had the opportunity to see how the citizens of Sarajevo see the area of Hastahana. More greenery and play space, a youth space as well as a dog park, are just some of the ideas we had a chance to see. The Municipality of Centar, in cooperation with UNDP, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Sarajevo and the City of Sarajevo, is launching an initiative called "Re-imagine my street" - "My imagination for my street".
This is the first initiative of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which aims to contribute to inclusive and sustainable urban transformation through the collective sharing of ideas for renovation and improvement of public spaces by citizens and the implementation of concrete actions that will result in green, colorful and pleasant streets. and public areas in the municipality of Centar.
