The forum gathered urban professionals, policymakers, and institutions from across Europe to explore the future of cities, with a focus on sustainability, climate neutrality, urban equity, and cultural heritage.
During the three-day programme, participants engaged in high-level sessions covering the following key topics:
- Funding sustainable urban development
- Citizen engagement in placemaking, including a site visit to Zakrzówek
- Systemic transformation toward climate-neutral cities
- Inclusive urban futures and competitiveness of EU functional areas
- The role of cultural heritage in sustainable urban planning
In addition to the official program, the Sarajevo delegation held a meeting with partners from the URBACT Pioneers Accelerator project. This in-person exchange served as an opportunity to discuss upcoming joint activities and strengthen collaboration within the project framework.
