At the end of the 2nd project period, the TRIBUTE consortium completed several activities along with the successful adoption of the TRIBUTE knowledge platform, as an essential tool for a comprehensive implementation of the project. In fact, due to travel restrictions and limitations to meet in person, imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, TRIBUTE needed a dynamic and interactive web tool to facilitate exchanges among the project partners. This was found in the EUSAIR Stakeholder Platform (ESP), managed by the Marche Region, the Italian project partner of the Interreg ADRION project, EUSAIR Facility Point.
ESP has been adopted as TRIBUTE knowledge platform and has been used so far for organizing on-line meetings among project partners. In the future, it will be used for sharing the results of the pilot actions and for exchanging best practices with the stakeholder, participating in the TRIBUTE living labs. The platform will offer both functional and technical features for the interaction among the stakeholders as well as for sharing information. This form of bilateral partnership between EUSAIR Facility Point and TRIBUTE, represents an added value for the Interreg ADRION Programme, achieved through the intertwining of two Interreg projects.
Regarding project’s core activities, the majority of TRIBUTE partners have launched their Living Labs. Novi Sad successfully organized 5 living lab meetings and 2 more are foreseen by the end of the year. Municipality of Milan held the kick-off meeting with the operators of sharing mobility. The cities of Ljubljana and Maribor have scheduled their kick-off meetings separately for mid-December, while other project partners (Zagreb, Sarajevo, Novi Sad and Patras) are planning to launch their living lab activities in early 2022.
The methodology for the TRIBUTE Action Plan will be finalized in the coming weeks including a common framework for the implementation of several pilot actions, consistent with the project identified by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), the cities’ SUMP (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan) and other city mobility projects. The effectiveness of the living lab approach will be assessed in its capacity of being adopted also for other mobility projects in the cities.
