"Re-imagine my street" - "My imagination for my street" is the first initiative of its kind in Bosnia and Herzegovina that aims to contribute to inclusive and sustainable urban transformation of microlocalities, through collective sharing of ideas for reconstruction and improvement of public spaces by citizens , and the realization of concrete actions for greener, more vivid and more comfortable public spaces.
This initiative is being implemented by the Accelerator Lab of the UNDP in Bosnia & Herzegovina along with the Municipality of Centar, the City of Sarajevo and the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Sarajevo.
After the consultative event called "Urban Lab" that was organized in "Musala" street, citizens had the opportunity to propose ideas for its transformation. Based on the received citizens suggestions, four conceptual solutions were prepared.
These solutions are now available on the Open Innovation Platform and are open to the public on the following website: https://www.otvoreneinovacije.ba/bs-Latn-BA/challenges/8/moja-masta-za-ulicu-musala -in-Sarajevo-call-for-public-voting-on-street-design-options. On this website, citizens can vote between the proposed solutions by either leaving a rating, comment or "like".
The final results of the voting and "liking" of the proposed solutions by the citizens will be publicly available from January 6, 2022, which is the deadline for voting. Based on the votes, ideas and suggestions regarding the future appearance of this street, the main project for the revitalization of this site will be prepared.
Your visions and ideas will affect the functionality of this public space, as well as the the social, physical, environmental, economic and cultural form and content of the same, therefore we invite our fellow citizens to take part in this project.
