City of Sarajevo participated in the final conference of the IMPETUS - Improving local policies on temporary uses project and the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform workshop, held in Florence and Livorno on 8-9 June.
The event brought together representatives of cities, regions and organizations from across Europe to exchange experiences and present innovative approaches to temporary use, transformative reuse of urban spaces and tactical urbanism.
As an associated partner of the project, the City of Sarajevo had the opportunity to explore successful practices implemented by European cities in the fields of sustainable urban development, urban regeneration and participatory planning, while strengthening cooperation with project partners and stakeholders.
A representative of the City of Sarajevo’s Sustainable Development Department took part in the panel discussion “Enabling Transformative Reuse – IMPETUS Results in Cities”, where Sarajevo’s activities, experiences and project achievements were presented to the international audience.
Participation in the conference provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen international cooperation, establish new partnerships and transfer acquired knowledge into future initiatives aimed at sustainable urban development in Sarajevo.
