The implementation of the Therapeutic Garden at Danijela Ozme 11 has officially entered its first phase, with works on the ground now underway.
The garden will create an inclusive green space that brings together people, nature, and the wider community. Designed to support well-being, reduce social isolation and stigma, and encourage recovery through shared activities and experiences, the Therapeutic Garden will provide a welcoming environment for connection, learning, and participation.
Beyond its social value, the garden will also contribute to enhancing urban biodiversity and promoting a sustainable, climate-conscious approach to the development of urban spaces. Through this initiative, Sarajevo is creating a model that can inspire similar solutions in other communities and cities.
